A whistle-blower lawsuit was settled between a former employee of the CRDA, who accused the authority of wrongful termination. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the lawsuit was settled before jury selection began on Monday according to court records. Avalon resident George Jones was fired from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority as their development director in 2009, after a dispute alleging his opposition to CRDA officials on testing locations of land occupied by the former Atlantic City Linen Supply. Terms of the settlement were not available.
