LAWMAKERS WORKING TO SAVE NJN FROM GOING DARK

Legislation to help keep NJN on the air passed through the Senate State Government Committee. The bill sponsored by Senate President Steve Sweeney would allow the state Treasurer the ability to work out a deal for the network, pending legislative approval. The goal is to get NJN expenses off the state’s payroll and to have a non-state entity continue the network.
