LAWMAKERS FAIL TO ADVANCE A NEW BEACH ACCESS BILL

Lawmakers in Trenton failed to advance a new bill designed to improve beach access in New Jersey.  Democrats are in favor of the bill, but many in this part of the State believe the bill is severely flawed.  The bill does not address important decisions regarding beach access that were secured for coastal communities by Avalon, who sued the NJDEP over a previous law, and won.
