LAWMAKERS CONTINUE TO ASK FOR DELAYS IN FLOOD INSURANCE PREMIUM HIKES

Some federal lawmakers in Washington are trying to delay in the inevitable..huge increases in flood insurance premiums for coastal homeowners.  A bipartisan effort continues in Washington to delay the implementation of major increases in flood insurance premiums for four years.  Some New Jersey lawmakers support the delay, saying the higher premiums will lower property values and force some coastal residents to sell their homes.
