A Philadelphia man admitted in his guilt in an incident that killed Lower Township native Frederick Shelton. The Press of Atlantic City reports that John Lawless said he drank a dozen beers before getting on the road in Sept. of last year. Lawless was over three times the legal limit when police arrested him. He plead guilty to aggravated manslaughter. Sentencing will take place next month. Aggravated manslaughter holds a sentence of 10 to 30 years. A judge will make the final determination.
