LAUTENBERG: STATE IS MISSING OUT ON FOOD STAMP FUNDS

The state has not made application to get additional food stamp money. United States Senator Frank Lautenberg said the state could receive an additional $5 billion that would provide an extra $14 a month to the 120,000 families. Lautenberg said the state needs to act quickly to get the dollars.
