Federal legislation will be introduced to ban individuals from buying thousands of rounds of ammunition online or by mail. On Monday NJ Senator Frank Lautenberg announced the Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act, along with US Rep. Carolyn McCarthy of New York, whose husband was killed in a 1993 shooting incident on a Long Island Rail Road train. Lautenberg says the two are “on a mission” to close loopholes in gun laws that allow people to arm themselves , like the Colorado movie theater shooting suspect.
