A new deal between the state and WNET for NJN is going to be scrutinized some more. U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg said he asked the Federal Communications Commission to look at the agreement Lautenberg met with the chairman of the FCC and wanted to ensure the deal is looking out for the interests of the public. Lautenberg penned a letter where he questioned the agreement. The legislature had 15 days to veto the agreement from the date the agreement was signed.
