LAUTENBERG ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AT END OF TERM

It is something New Jersey voters haven’t seen since 1982. U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg will not seek reelection and will be retiring at the end of his term. Lautenberg first won a senate seat 31 years ago. Newark Mayor Cory Booker is among the candidates who have said they would be interested in running next year. Lautenberg is 89-years-old.
