LATE NIGHT SHOOTING MONDAY IN ATLANTIC CITY

Atlantic City police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning. Police said 21 year-old Nigel Garland was shot in the legs around 1 a.m. Sunday morning at the Boston Chicken on Baltic Avenue. Witnesses said the shooting suspect was seen running towards Tennessee and Arctic Avenues. Police described the suspect as a short, young, light skinned black or Hispanic man driving a dark colored vehicle. After further investigation, police recovered two handguns and marijuana from an apartment on the1300 block of Baltic Avenue. No arrests have been made.
