LARGE TAX INCREASE COMING FOR VENTNOR RESIDENTS

A very large tax increase is in the works for residents of Ventnor.  Officials have introduced a new $30.2 million budget that includes a 7.7 cent increase in the local tax rate.  The average homeowner would pay over $230 in additional taxes.  Mayor Beth Holtzman says the budget is needed to move the city forward in a responsible manner.
