LARE: STATE AID REMAINING FLAT

Local communities should be happy with at least one aspect of the governor’s budget address, state aid looks like it will remain flat from year-to-year. Lower Township Deputy Mayor Kevin Lare tells Coastal Broadcasting that he was on a conference call with the governor’s office and all state aid is supposed to remain even. Last year many municipalities took a huge hit in state aid that caused many budgets to be adjusted at the last minute.
