It is only going to be a two horse race in the second legislative district. Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford has announced that he is dropping out of the race. Originally, Langford announced that he was going to run as an independent, but has since changed his mind. This means that the race will be incumbent Democrat Senator Jim Whelan and Republican Assemblyman Vince Polistina.
