LANGFORD DENOUNCES PLAN BY STATE IN ATLANTIC CITY

The current mayor of Atlantic City is not happy about the direction the state wants to take within the city. Mayor Lorenzo Langford told The Press of Atlantic City that a plan by Senate Democrats is a direct takeover. The plans include a special police force in the tourism district, and the CRDA being in charge of that tourism district. Langford said he supported a public-private partnership and that this new plan gives too much power to the CRDA.
