LANDFILL GAS NOW TURNED INTO ENERGY BY COUNTY MUA

May as well make good use of stinky landfill gas and turn it into energy.  The Cape May County MUA held a press event on Wednesday to announce that gas from the landfill in Woodbine is being turned into power and connected to the local power grid in our region.  Gas that comes out is converted to power and added to the grid.  There’s enough power in methane gas alone to power all of the homes in a community like Woodbine.
