Marcus Karavan will not seek another term as chairman of the Cape May County GOP. Karavan announced that he is willingly stepping aside to allow Mike Donohue to assume the chairmanship, a post he has held before. The republican party scored major wins during Karavan’s tenure, including turning Dennis and Middle townships all-republican, and regaining two seats in the New Jersey Assembly, and one in the New Jersey Senate.
