Lower Township Police charged a 17-year-old with driving while intoxicated on a moped. Police charged the unidentified driver on Wednesday who drove past police without the headlights being on. The stop took place at Bayshore and Old Mill Drive. Along with alcohol charges, and no headlights, the driver was charged for being unlicensed. A 16-year-old close behind the moped was charged for consumption of alcohol. Both were released back into the custody of their families.
