A Superior Court judge stepped into another political squabble in Wildwood. Judge Valerie Armstrong ruled on Tuesday that the wording of a special ballot question dealing with staffing in the Wildwood police department is misleading. At issue is the wording of a question dealing with police issues. In her decision, Armstrong ruled that the wording of the question as presented by the city was biased, and the wording provided by a special citizens’ committee was much better. Voters in Wildwood will not only fill three commission seats on May 10th but they will also decide if the number of police supervisors would be reduced.
