JUDGE TOSSES SOME CHARGES AGAINST SENATOR MENENDEZ

A federal judge has tossed some of the charges against Senator Robert Menendez but allowed many charges to stick for a potential re-trial on a corruption complaint.  United States District Judge William Walls denied requests by Menendez’ attorneys for an acquittal on all charges.  The federal government plans to proceed expeditiously with the new trial.
