Joshua Malmgren was in court again on Tuesday, as judge John Porto viewed a videotape interview of his girlfriend. On the tape Elizabeth Melli said that Malmgren was on a binge for several days of drinking and taking pain pills before the accident that claimed the lives of two teenage girls along Bayshore Road last July. Judge Porto will decide on whether the tape will be admitted as evidence against Malmgren, who has been charged with two counts of aggravated manslaughter. He remains free after posting $400,000 bail and had no comment at his pre-trial hearing.
