Bankruptcy won’t protect Revel from $30 million in unpaid taxes to the city. A judge ruled that Atlantic City could still collect the taxes owed as long as the city didn’t try to tack on costly penalties for non-payment. The city wanted the right to sell the rights to collect Revel’s unpaid taxes during an auction on Dec. 11.
