A Superior Court judge could rule as early as next week on an issue involving the cost of a special election in early December that will impact the Lower Cape May Regional School District. Judge Julio Mendez heard arguments in court on Thursday about the $40,000 price tab for the special election that could decide if Cape May can separate from the school district. Cape May is willing to pay for a part of the election, but wants other towns to also foot their fare share of the bill. The case was heard in Atlantic City.
