Popularity remains strong for Gov. Chris Christie. A new poll released by Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind shows that the state’s highest ranking official comes in at a 51 percent approval rating, which is down from 55 percent a couple of months back. Meanwhile, 35 percent of the state do not approval of the job performance of Christie. New Jersey has reached a set back in the past couple of months, with unemployment numbers jumping to 9.8 percent.
