Jitney service may be spreading farther south, into Avalon & Stone Harbor. The Press of Atlantic City reports that officials of Seven Mile Island have been monitoring the success of jitneys in Sea Isle City and may bring them to their communities. Borough officials are expected to meet with the Atlantic City Jitney Association this week to work out a deal for their own jitney service that could start in as soon as one month
