On Wednesday Stockton University hosted their annual Jersey Shorecast with tourism officials from Cape May and Atlantic Counties. Vicki Clark, President of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce and Diane Wieland, Director of Tourism for the county, joined the panel and suggested a decently strong season should be ahead for the summer. Wieland said county tourism numbers for the fall of 2015 were up by 43 percent and the first quarter numbers for 2016 showed a gain of 4.2 percent from the previous year.
