A teenager who’s accused of killing a New Jersey police officer earlier this year will go on trial nearly one year to the date of the murder. Ocean County authorities announced that a trial date has been set for 19 year old Jahmell Crockam, the man accused of gunning down Lakewood Township Police Officer Christopher Matlosz last January. The trial date is January 17, 2012. Crockham also faces various weapons offenses. Matlosz was killed during a routine patrol.
