A 43 year old inmate at the Cumberland County Jail hanged himself in his cell just before the weekend. John Watson of Bridgeton was being held on charges including eluding police and resisting arrest. Authorities found Watson expired in his cell shortly after Noon on Friday. This is the third hanging in just over a year at the Jail.
