IT’S OFFICIAL: MILLVILLE EMPLOYEES CAN SHARE SICK-TIME

Millville City Commission voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve an ordinance that will allow municipal workers to donate their sick and vacation time to fellow employees. The action was taken in response to city workers who wished to give more time off to Susan Reeves, the wife of Millville police officer Christopher Reeves, who was killed earlier this year in the line of duty. The policy is now part of the municipal code, instead of an item in union contracts with the city.
