ITS OFFICIAL: LOWEST MOTOR VEHICLE FATALITIES IN RECORDED HISTORY LAST YEAR

Motor vehicle fatalities in New Jersey are at an all-time low. Preliminary statistics indicate that there were 508 crashes resulting in 544 people killed on New Jersey roadways during the 2013 calendar year. It represents an eight percent decrease from the year prior. That is the lowest number of lives lost in motor vehicle crashes since the New Jersey State Police began recording these deaths more than 30 years ago.
