Good news for hockey fans. The Philadelphia Flyers and the NHL will return on Jan. 19. The Philadelphia Flyers will open their 48-game 2012-13 schedule against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wells Fargo Center in a nationally-televised game on NBC on Saturday, January 19 at 3 p.m. The season will conclude on April 28 at the Ottawa Senators. The revised schedule finds the Flyers playing only Eastern Conference opponents, and is weighted towards divisional foes. The Flyers will play 18 of their games against the four other teams in the Atlantic Division, and will face the teams in the Northeast and Southeast divisions three times each for a total of 15 games against each division.
