Entering his former gym at Livingston High School to the music of Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Christie began his run for the 2016 presidency. The governor took the stage with his wife and four children by his side and declared he is “ready to fight for the people” of America. Christie promised a campaign without spin, and said he was ready to work with the voters “to restore America to it’s rightful place in the world, and to restore the American dream to each one of our children.” Christie plans to campaign for the rest of the week in New Hampshire, where he faces a crowded field of GOP hopefuls in the nation’s first primary next year.
