IRENE EXTENDS TAX DEADLINES IN NEW JERSEY

Some tax deadlines in the state have been delayed for a month thanks to Hurricane Irene. The New Jersey Department of Treasury announced that various tax deadlines for businesses and individuals have been extended to October 31st because so many New Jerseyans had their lives disrupted by the storm. This extension gives people more than a month to get caught up with the state tax offices.
