INTERNET GAMING FALLS SHORT OF CHRISTIE’S PREDICTION

When Internet gaming was first introduced, it was predicted to provide a huge windfall by Gov. Chris Christie. The governor predicted it would provide $1 billion in its first year. The numbers are finally in and it only produced $120.4 million for its first year in operation. The numbers have provided a bit of boost to the casinos but not nearly the amounts that lawmakers were hoping for when it was allowed.
