Inmates at the Cape May County Jail tried to get illegal drugs siphoned into them by the United States Postal Service. Cape May County Sheriff Gary Schaffer says that staff at the jail found various attempts to get marijuana and other tobacco products shipped into the Jail for inmates. The packages were delivered to two inmates; one signed for the package, the other did not. The property has been seized, and so far no charges have been filed.
