An inmate killed himself at the Cape May County Correctional Center. Authorities found the man hanging from a sheet inside of the cell. The inmate, identified as Nard Sonsin, a fifty six (56) year old male, was immediately removed from his cell and attempts were made to revive him via lifesaving techniques. Sonsin was subsequently transported to Cape Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. Sonsin’s next of kin have been notified of his death. Sonsin was incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center awaiting charges of Receiving Stolen Property, in Cape May County and being a fugitive of justice from Pennsylvania.
