A very serious accident during the Labor Day weekend in Buena Vista Township, Atlantic County. Three bicyclists were injured during an accident Saturday when a car slammed into a group of 11 bike riders on Route 54. One cyclist, identified as Anthony Pittman, was seriously injured with a fractured elbow after going through the windshield of a Nissan Altima and was airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden. The other cyclists were identified as Joseph Simmons and Dan Ayers, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
