INJURED ATLANTIC CITY POLICE OFFICER RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

The Atlantic City police officer who was shot during an alleged burglary attempt on Labor Day Weekend was released from the hospital Thursday afternoon. Josh Vadell was released from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and transfered to a rehabilitation center. Doctors at the hospital’s trauma center said they expect the 29 year-old cop to make a full recovery. The Blue Life Matters online fundraising campaign has raised more that $105,000 for Vadell and his family.
