A Cape May County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Mihaela Reilly, 25, of Seaville, for charges of: Death by Auto, a second degree crime and Violation of Law Intended to Protect Public Health and Safety, a second degree crime. The State alleges that on July 21, 2014, defendant was using a hand-held wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle on Route 9 in Upper Township when she struck and killed a pedestrian, David Loder. Prosecutor Taylor advises that person convicted of second-degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 5 to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison.
