An Atlantic City man has been indicted for the 2009 murder of another Atlantic City man. An Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Andrew Garland for murder and weapons charges. Garland is charged with the murder of 20-year-old Shaddiy Dixon. Dixon was among four men shot on August 4, 2009, at a block party in a parking lot. On Jan. 25, Garland turned himself into the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and was lodged at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $1 million cash bail.
