The identity of the dead body that was found dead in the water on Monday has been confirmed by Lower Township Police. Authorities found the body atthe Harbor View Marina off Ocean Drive. The identity has been confirmed as Robert Schumann, of Lower Township. Lower Police say initial reports has Schumann had just returned from a fishing trip and was finishing up filleting some of the fish at the Marina. Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful and paramedics pronounced him dead enroute to Cape Regional Medical Center. An investigation continues into the incident.
