ICHAN: I’LL KEEP TAJ OPEN IF BENEFITS APPEAL DROPS

Carl Ichan says he will keep the Trump Taj Mahal open if a union drops a court appeal over worker benefits.  Ichan told the Press of Atlantic City on Wednesday that if the appeal is dropped, he can keep the Taj open without state aid.  The Taj Mahal is currently scheduled to close on or about December 12th which will wipe out of 2,700 jobs in the resort.  Ichan told the Press that the Taj is losing $10 million a month.
