Beach goers this summer in Wildwood Crest could see ice cream sales at the borough’s concession rental stands. The Wildwood Leader reports that Wildwood Crest has introduced an ordinance to allow ice cream sales on the beach for the first time. The frozen treat will only be available at concession stands, not from beach combing vendors. Borough officials are requiring ice cream vendors to wear uniforms, pick up trash and no hawking. The public hearing and final vote on the ordinance is set for 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at Wildwood Crest Borough Hall.
