HURRICANE SEASON FORECAST TO BE “BELOW NORMAL”

Good news for those tired of hurricanes. It is supposed to be a below average year for hurricanes according to the NOAA. This doesn’t mean we couldn’t see a hurricane this year. The forecast called for 6 to 11 named storms, of which 3 to 6 would become hurricanes. They are calling for 0 to 2 major hurricanes, meaning at least a category 3.
