Finally Hurricane Sandy aid is coming where it belongs. The U.S. Senate passed the $50.4 billion aid package that was passed in the House of Representatives previously. In total, about $60 billion of aid is coming to the states impacted by Super Storm Sandy. Gov. Chris Christie was critical of the federal government for being slow in action. The money is going to help the state rebuild following the storm. Some have concerns with a package of money that big that money could be misspent and are looking to put safeguards into the process.
