Hurricane Earl is staying mostly out to shore. Some rain and wind will continue to be in the forecast for the rest of today as a result of the storm. Earl has already been downgraded to a catagory one hurricane. A tropical storm warning remains in effect. The surf will continue to be rough and rip tides are likely. A cold front has helped push the storm out to sea.
