The first hurricane of the 2015 season is a doozy. Hurricane Danny was upgraded to a Category 3 storm on Friday afternoon, with wind speeds of 115 miles-per-hour. The National Hurricane Center has not changed the forecast track of the storm, and expects it to weaken over the weekend due to increased dry air and wind shear. Danny is expected to step down to tropical storm status by the time it reaches Puerto Rico, and will not be a threat to the U.S. mainland through the early part of next week.
