Hundreds of children and adults marched through the streets of Atlantic City on Monday to honor the memory of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The march held by the NAACP, ended at the Civil Rights Garden at Pacific Avenue and Martin Luther King Blvd., in stark contrast to last year’s excessive amount of gun violence in the city. Officials from the NAACP hope this march will reinforce Kings legacy and dream of justice, equality, and freedom.
