On Saturday hundreds of people joined high school students and community groups at the 15th annual Veterans Appreciation Day at the Millville Airport. The event also celebrated the 75th anniversary of the airport, where thousands of service members trained during World War II. Veterans from the Korean and Vietnam wars and Persian Gulf conflicts were also honored at the ceremony with a bagpipe tribute, wreath-laying and a moment of silence.
