New Jersey doesn’t have a state song..but soon, it may have five. A new bill has been proposed in compromise fashion by some lawmakers including State Senator Jeff Van Drew that proposes five state songs for the Garden State. None of the songs are by New Jersey stars Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, or even Frank Sinatra. NJ.com reports the songs are from lesser known artists and include a state anthem, a state popular song, and even a state ballad.
