Another very large beach nourishment project is coming to New Jersey. A $36 million beach replenishment project is coming to the seashore community of Keansburg to restore the beaches to pre-Hurricane Sandy conditions. The contractor hired for the project will have 200 days to complete the work. The beach fill will be financed by Hurricane Sandy recovery aid.
